For nearly 10 years, the Lac à Jim Solidarity COOP has been operating the facilities and is a leading destination for family vacations! Located along the 49th Parallel, at the gateway to the boreal forest, the Lac à Jim Resort Center is a revitalizing place where nature, fun, and the outdoors come together. Whether for vacations with family, a couple, or friends, we offer a wide range of activities as well as access to outdoor equipment available on site depending on the season. In addition, the Lac à Jim Resort Center is a dedicated venue for celebrating special events or reuniting with family and friends.
Our objectives, though modest, are to renovate the infrastructure in the short term and to continue offering quality service to our guests. Our long-term vision is to develop a next-generation campground project and become a key tourist destination, in collaboration with various stakeholders from the Maria-Chapdelaine RCM. This involves structuring our services to better serve snowmobilers and ATV users traveling via the new 49th Parallel Gateway. An integrated development plan is already in place, but it must be implemented to ensure continuity.
